The MELODIC MINOR SCALE contains the intervals 1,2,b3,4,5,6,7.
In classical harmony, it has two forms, as above when ascending and 1,2,b3,4,5,b6,b7 when descending.
In modern usage though this tend to be ignored making things a bit easier for us.
